Toussaint Creek Project

Landowners in the Toussaint Creek Watershed recently got a letter about proposed improvements to the Toussaint Creek.

This project was petitioned by landowners under Section 1515 of the Ohio Revised Code.  

Also according the ORC a viewing and a hearing will be held so that opinions and concerns can be voiced.

Viewing: January 6, 2015 at 9:00am at the Wood County Jr. Fair Building

Hearing: March 24, 2015 at 9:00am at the Wood County Jr. Fair Building

Proposed Improvements
-Removal of log jams
-Removal of leaning trees that will cause an obstruction
-Removal of in channel woody vegetation
-No earth moving
-No clear cutting of vegetation on both banks
